November is the final month before winter's icy grip takes hold.
The leaves are falling and the process of life and death continues.
This month typically makes me feel a mixture of nostalgia, sadness, and happiness.
It's a feeling I can't quite put into words, but I feel most alive during this time.

Today, I want to share the darkly hilarious movie The Death of Stalin.
『スターリンの死』は、ヨシフ・スターリンが亡くなった直後にクレムリンで繰り広げられる出来事を描いた 2017 年の映画です。
この映画は、「La Mort de Staline」というタイトルのフランスのグラフィックノベルに基づいています。
The Death of Stalin is a 2017 film that follows the events that unfold in the Kremlin just after Joseph Stalin passes away.
The film is based on a French graphic novel titled "La Mort de Staline".
ほとんどの独裁者が指導者の座から外される場合と同様に、権力の空白が生まれます。
この真空の中で権力闘争が生まれ、多くの人が指導者の地位を争う。
As is the case when most dictators are removed from leadership, a power vacuum is created.
Within this vacuum, a power struggle is created and many people vie for the leadership position.

私がロシア人だったらこの映画をどう感じるか分かりませんが、アメリカ人としては素晴らしいブラックコメディだと思いました。
キャストも素晴らしく、演技も完璧で、最後まで見ていてとても面白かったです。
この映画を観た後、私はロシアにもっと興味を持ち、この国に対してより前向きな感情を抱きました。

With the war in Ukraine still raging on, Russia is a bit of a hot topic these days.
I don't know how I would feel about this film if I were Russian, but as an American, I thought it was a fantastic black comedy.
The cast is great, the acting is perfect, and it was intriguing to watch all the way through.
After watching the movie, I felt more interested in Russia and had more positive feelings for the country.
Of course, this was in 2019 before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
