1969 年 9 月 26 日から 1974 年 3 月 8 日まで放送されていた『The Brady Bunch』は、大規模な混合家族を描いたアメリカのホームコメディです。
混合家族とは、少なくとも一方の親に配偶者と生物学的に血縁関係のない子供がいる場合に使用される用語です。
「混合家族」は「ステップファミリー」と同義ですが、状況がより複雑で、両親の両方に以前の関係からの子供がいる場合には混合家族が使用されます。

Originally airing from September 26, 1969, to March 8, 1974, The Brady Bunch is an American sitcom about a large blended family.
A blended family is a term used when at least one parent has children who are not biologically related to their spouse.
"blended family" is synonymous with "stepfamily", however, blended family is used when the situation is more complex and both parents have children from previous relationships.
In the case of The Brady Bunch, both the husband and wife have three kids from a previous relationship.

The premise of the show is that Mike Brady is a widowed architect with 3 sons.
He meets a woman, Carol, who is also a widow with 3 daughters.
They decide to get married, blending the family, along with their dog, Tiger, and their live-in nanny, Alice.
This is the start of the Brady bunch!

Even though there was a 20-year gap, I could still relate to the show's themes as I also had divorced parents and longed for a unified family.

今日の記事を読んでよぎった思い出が胸をかすめました✨✨
以前、ずっと昔、何十年も前の話ですが、もう半世紀程経つのかもしれませんが、
家族のいない子たちが、小さな家族のような形で暮らす所があって、そう、小さい家が何軒か立ち並び、そこにはお父さんのような、お母さんのような、お姉さんのような、家族のようなとこがあって・・・そんな所で母親役or姉役の仕事をしようとしていたのですが、結局は公務員試験に受かり、普通の家庭の子が通う幼稚園に勤務しました。父や母とはその事は語り草になっていて「本気でそう言ってたよねえ」なんて( *´艸｀)・・・余談が過ぎました(^▽^;)
