This is a cartoon from 1983 called Saturday Supercade.
This cartoon featured various characters from the golden age of arcade games.
The golden age of arcade games is a period from the late 1970s to the early 1980s.
It started with Space Invaders in 1978, which began an arcade craze in America.
By the 1980s arcade games began to feature main characters such as Pac-Man, Frogger, Donkey Kong, and Mario.
これらのキャラクターは子供たちに非常に人気があり、それらをフィーチャーした漫画が登場し始めました。
『Saturday Supercade』は、こうした漫画の初期の例です。
These characters became extremely popular with kids, and cartoons began to appear featuring them.
Saturday Supercade is an early example of these cartoons.
1983 年 9 月 17 日から 1984 年 12 月 1 日までリリースされ、2 シーズンにわたって放送され、さまざまなアーケード ゲームのキャラクターが出演する分割されたエピソードが特徴でした。
登場キャラクターはフロッガー、ドンキーコング、ドンキーコングジュニア、Q*バート、ピットフォールハリー、カンガルー、スペースエースでした。
ドンキーコングのセグメントには、オリジナルのゲームと同様に、マリオとポーリンも登場しました。

Released between September 17, 1983 – December 1, 1984, it ran for 2 seasons and featured segmented episodes starring various arcade game characters.
The characters featured were Frogger, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Q*Bert, Pitfall Harry, Kangaroo, and Space Ace.
Donkey Kong's segments also featured Mario and Pauline, just like the original game.
Mario and Pauline would often try to capture Donkey Kong, who would then Capture Pauline and Mario would save her.
They would also team up to fight villains trying to commit a crime.
