彼は常に正義のために戦い、正しいことをするスーパーヒーローです。
彼のモットーは「大いなる力には大いなる責任が伴う」です。
では、スパイダーマンは悪魔の陰謀の影が目の前に現れたらどうするでしょうか?
スパイダーマンのストーリー「ワン モア デイ」を見てみましょう。
I'm sure many of you are familiar with Spider-Man.
He is a super hero who always fights for justice and does what's right.
His motto is "With great power comes great responsibility."
So what would Spider-Man do when the Devil's conniving silhouette appears before him?
Let's take a look at the Spider-Man story "One More Day."
2007 年 11 月から 2008 年 1 月にかけて出版された『ワン モア デイ』は、スパイダーマンをフィーチャーした 4 部構成のクロスオーバー コミック ブック ストーリーです。
J. マイケル ストラジンスキーとジョー ケサダによって執筆され、ケサダはほとんどのアートも手掛けています。
このストーリーは、スーパーヒーロー コミュニティを分裂させ、友人や愛する人たちがそれぞれの信念のために互いに戦うことになったマーベルのシビル ウォー イベントの後に起こります。
このストーリーのアイデアは、2021 年のスパイダーマン映画『ノー ウェイ ホーム』にも採用されました。
Published between November 2007 and January 2008, One More Day is a four-part crossover comic book story featuring Spider-Man.
It was written by J. Michael Straczynski and Joe Quesada, with Quesada also doing most of the art as well.
The story takes place after Marvel's Civil War event, which divided the superhero community between each other, causing friends and loved ones to fight against each other for their respected beliefs.
Ideas from this story were also adapted into the 2021 Spider-Man film "No Way Home."
物語の筋は、スパイダーマンの愛する保護者であるメイおばさんが流れ弾に撃たれるところから始まります。
おばさんを失うという事実に打ちひしがれたスパイダーマンは、異次元の魔法にアクセスできる強力な魔術師、ドクター・ストレンジに相談します。
残念ながら、彼にはスパイダーマンを助けることはできません。
ドクター・ストレンジは、トニー・スタークを含む世界で最も優秀な科学者の多くとスパイダーマンを連絡させますが、誰も彼を助けることはできません。
The plot of the story begins with Aunt May, Spider-Man's beloved guardian, getting shot by a stray bullet.
Devastated with the fact that he will lose his aunt, Spider-Man consults Dr. Strange, a powerful magician who can access magic from other dimensions.
Unfortunately, it's impossible for him to help Spider-Man.
Dr. Strange puts him in contact with many of the world's smartest scientific minds, including Tony Stark, but no one can help him.
最期のメイおばさんに付き添うために病院へ歩いていると、スパイダーマンは赤い服を着た少女に出会い、彼女の言うことは自分の問題に対する答えだという。
彼女を追うと、悪魔のメフィストに遭遇する。
メフィストはスパイダーマンに、おばさんを救うことはできるが、その代わりに何かが欲しいと言う。
通常、悪魔は相手の魂を要求するが、今回はメフィストはスパイダーマンとメアリー・ジェーンの結婚を望んでいると言う。
このジレンマに悩んだ後、スパイダーマンとメアリー・ジェーンは、メイおばさんが生きられるように、自分たちの人生のその部分を消すことに同意する。
合意通り、スパイダーマンはメアリー・ジェーンとメイおばさんが生きていて元気だったことを思い出せない状態で目を覚ます。
As he is walking to the hospital to be with Aunt May in her final hours, he encounters a little girl in red who tells him she has the answer to his problems.
Upon following her, he is encountered by the demon Mephisto.
Mephisto tells Spider-Man that he can save his aunt but wants something in return.
Usually the Devil will ask for the person's soul, but this time Mephisto says he wants Spider-Man's marriage to Mary Jane.
After agonizing over the dilemma, Spider-Man and Mary Jane agree to have that part of their lives erased so that Aunt May can live.
As agreed on, Spider-Man wakes up with no recollection of Mary Jane and his Aunt May alive and well.
公開されると、スパイダーマンのファンも批評家も皆、このストーリーを激しく拒絶した。
さらに多くの人が、これは「間違いなく2007年にマーベルが出版した最悪のコミック」だと述べた。
スパイダーマンのコミックの長年のファンや読者は、スパイダーマンを読んで育ち、彼の結婚を目撃したため、裏切られたと感じた。

Many went on to say it was "undoubtedly the worst comic Marvel published in 2007."
Longtime fans and readers of the Spider-Man comic felt betrayed as they grew up reading Spider-Man and witnessing his marriage.
However, one person praised the story and said it took a lot of courage to change such a well-loved character like Spider-Man.
That person added that changes like that are necessary to keep the series fresh.
The person with all this praise to say was none other than Spider-Man's co-creator and Marvel Comics founder Stan Lee.
アメリカのコミックでは、このようなことはよく起こります。
愛されているキャラクターはストーリーの中で殺されることが多く、その後、幻想的な方法で生き返ります。
マーベル映画は好きですが、コミックは読んだことがありません。
私の観点からすると、ストーリーの筋書きは悪くないと思いますし、スパイダーマンは相変わらず人気があります。
時には、声高な少数派が、沈黙している少数派が考えている現実をかき消してしまうことがあります。
In American comic books, things like this happen quite often.
Beloved characters are often killed off in stories only to be brought back to life later in some fantastical way.
Despite enjoying the Marvel movies, I never read the comics.
From my perspective, I don't think the plot of the story sounded bad, and Spider-Man is still as popular as ever.
Sometimes a vocal minority drowns out the reality of what a silent minority is thinking.
