ハロウィンは10月1日から徐々にイベントが盛り上がっていくのでワクワクします。
アメリカでは、多くのテレビ番組がハロウィーンの特別エピソードを放送したり、ハロウィーンをテーマにした番組を放送したりします。
これは、恐ろしい日への期待を高めるのに役立ちます。
What better way to get into the spirit of Halloween than with a Halloween movie?
Halloween is exciting because from October 1st there is a gradual buildup to the event.
In America, many television shows will air special Halloween episodes or have Halloween-themed programming.
This helps build anticipation for the frightful day!
子供の頃の私のお気に入りのハロウィーンをテーマにした映画の 1 つは、ディズニー チャンネルのものでした。
ハロウィンタウンをご紹介します！
One of my favorite Halloween-themed movies as a kid was from the Disney Channel.
Allow me to introduce you to Halloweentown!
この映画は1998年10月17日にアメリカのディズニー・チャンネルで初公開された。
この映画は、自分が魔女であることをまだ知らないマーニーという12歳の少女の物語です。
母親のグウェンは子供たちに普通の生活を送ってほしいと考えているため、血統を隠したいと考えている。
しかし、マーニーが13歳になる前に魔女の訓練を始めなければ、彼女は永遠に力を失ってしまいます。
The film originally premiered on Disney Channel in America on October 17th, 1998.
The film follows a 12-year-old girl named Marnie, who doesn't yet know she is a witch.
Her mother, Gwen, wants her children to live a normal life so she wants to conceal their lineage.
However, if Marnie doesn't begin her witch training before she turns 13, she will lose her powers forever.
マーニーの祖母アギーは、毎年恒例のハロウィーンの訪問のために子供たちを訪ねます。
アギーは、孫たちに彼らが本当に魔女であることを示し、その魔法の力を明らかにしたいと考えています。

私は続編を見たことがありませんが、オリジナルは間違いなく見る価値があります。
The film received positive reviews and became a hit for the Disney Channel.
It was followed up by 3 sequels in 2001, 2004, and 2006.
Although I've never watched the sequels the original is definitely worth a view.
私が子供の頃、ある10月の夜にテレビでこの映画を偶然見ました。
私は父と二人で暮らしていたので、ハロウィンの飾り付けをしたことも、ハロウィンの雰囲気を味わうこともありませんでした。
でも、この映画を観て、ハロウィンの力に感動しました。
おそらく私は若くて、イベントを祝う家族との生活に憧れていたのでしょう。
大人になった今、ハロウィーンの精神を作り出すのは私たちの責任だと認識しています。
家に飾り付けをしたり、ハロウィングッズを楽しんだりすると気分もガラリと変わりますよ！
このハロウィーンの雰囲気を生徒全員にも伝えたいと思っています。
When I was a kid, I randomly saw this movie on TV one October night.
I lived alone with only my father so we never decorated or got into the Halloween spirit.
After watching this movie though, I felt moved by the power of Halloween.
Perhaps I was young and yearned for a life with a family who celebrated events.
I realize now as an adult that it's our responsibility to create the Halloween spirit.
Decorating the house and enjoying Halloween-themed goods will really change your mood!
I want to share this Halloween spirit with all of my students now, too!
