I want to tell you about the American restaurant Waffle House!
アメリカを訪れたことがあるなら、おそらくワッフルハウスの前を車で通りかかったことがあるのではないでしょうか。

Chances are if you've visited America you've probably driven by a Waffle House.
There are almost 2000 locations across 25 states.

Because of this, an urban myth began to spread that Waffle House doors have no locks.

Waffle House's ability to remain open after a disaster is used by FEMA as a measure of disaster recovery known as the Waffle House index.

Of course not all the time or at all locations but it happens enough to where it has become well known.

食べ物にはあまり感心しませんでしたが、魅力はありました。

I was never a Waffle House fan, but I have eaten there once or twice.
I wasn't too impressed with the food, but there is a charm to it.
I would recommend visiting it once if you're ever in the United States!
