デニーズというレストランはご存知の方も多いと思いますが、もともとはアメリカ発祥であることをご存知ですか？
アメリカのデニーズは日本のレストランとはほとんど違います。
アメリカ発のデニーズを紹介します！
Most of you are familiar with the restaurant Denny's, but did you know it's originally from America?
Denny's in America is almost completely different compared to the Japanese restaurant.
Let's take a look at Denny's from America!
デニーズの起源は、1953 年にカリフォルニア州レイクウッドにダニーズ ドーナツというドーナツ ショップとしてオープンしたことに遡ります。
フランチャイズ化して6店舗をオープンした後、コンセプトをドーナツショップからコーヒーショップに変更した。
それはダニーズ コーヒー ショップと名前を変更し、24 時間、年中無休で営業するようになりました。
当時カリフォルニアにあった別のコーヒーショップはダンズコーヒーと呼ばれていたため、混乱を避けるためにその名前は再びデニーズコーヒーショップに変更され、最終的には単にデニーズに短縮されました。
Denny's origin dates back to 1953 when it was originally opened as a donut shop called Danny's Donuts in Lakewood, California.
After franchising and opening 6 locations, the concept was changed from a donut shop into a coffee shop.
It was renamed Danny's Coffee Shops and began operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week with no holidays.
Another coffee shop in California at that time was called Dan's Coffee, so to avoid confusion the name was changed again to Denny's Coffee Shop and eventually shortened to just Denny's.
デニーズは拡大を続け、現在では米国の 50 州すべてで事業を展開しています。
カナダ、メキシコ、コスタリカ、チリ、エルサルバドル、ホンジュラス、イギリス、ニュージーランド、そしてもちろん日本を含む他の国にも進出しています。
Denny's has continued to expand and now operates in all 50 states of the United States.
It has even branched out to other countries including Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile, El Salvador, Honduras, The United Kingdom, New Zealand, and of course Japan.
デニーズは1974年にセブン＆アイ・ホールディングスとの独立ライセンスのもと日本に進出した。
デニーズの初代は横浜にオープンしました。
現在、デニーズは全国に570店舗以上あります！
ただし、メニューはアメリカのメニューとはまったく異なります。
メニューは日本人の好みに合わせて調整されており、アメリカの厩舎の多くは含まれていません。
Denny's entered Japan in 1974 under an independent license with Seven & I Holdings.
The original Denny's was opened in Yokohama.
There are now over 570 Denny's restaurants in Japan!
However, the menu is completely different from the American menu.
The menu has been adapted for Japanese tastes and no longer contains many of the American stables.
デニーズで外食するのは好きですか?
