Today, I want to look at the original debut of Mario in American movie theaters.

The plot of the film revolves around a boy named Jimmy, who suffers from PTSD after his twin sister drowned.

After Jimmy runs away from home, his brother finds him, and they decide to go to California.
On the way, they befriend a young girl who is also heading to California.
Soon they learn about a video game tournament where they can win a cash prize of $50,000.
Along the way, they must escape a bounty hunter who was hired to return the boys home and win the tournament.

In 2016, at Pax West, a gaming event in America, they replicated the entire Super Mario Bros. 3 tournament from the film.
