ご存知のように、私はマーベル映画を見るのが好きです。
しかし、私は最新のイテレーションにがっかりしていることに気づき続けました。
昔の映画の良さを思い出しました。
As you know, I enjoy watching Marvel movies.
However, I kept finding myself being disappointed with the newest iterations.
It made me remember just how good the older movies were.
音楽を聴くのも大好きです。
最近はクラシックロックや60～70年代の音楽をよく聴いています。
優れているだけでなく、素晴らしい音楽がたくさん含まれているマーベル映画が1つあります。
もちろんガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシーの話です！
I also love listening to music.
I have been listening to a lot of classic rock and music from the 60's and 70's lately.
There is one Marvel movie that is not only good, but also includes a lot of great music.
Of course I'm talking about Guardians of the Galaxy!
ガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシーは2014年8月にリリースされました。
当時の映画の他のスーパーヒーローキャラクターとは異なり、ガーディアンは多くの人に広く知られていませんでした。
実は、当時の私も彼らのことをよく知りませんでした。
この映画は、2014 年の最高の売上高を記録したスーパーヒーロー映画であり、全体で 3 番目に高い売上高を記録し、全世界で 7 億 7,330 万ドルの興行収入を上げました。
Guardians of the Galaxy was released in August of 2014.
Unlike other superhero characters with movies at that time, the Guardians were not widely known by many people.
Actually, I wasn’t familiar with them either at that time.
The movie went on to be the highest-grossing superhero film of 2014 and the third-highest-grossing film overall making $773.3 million in worldwide box-office sales.
あまり知られていないヒーローチームであるため、映画に取り組んでいるチームには、好きなように映画を作成する自由が与えられました。
もちろん、マーベル ユニバース全体の出来事に結び付ける必要がありましたが、宇宙空間で行われたため、それほど密接に関連していませんでした。
この映画の大きな成功ポイントの一つは、音楽をどのように映画に取り入れたかでした。
サウンドトラックには、1960年代と70年代の人気曲が目立ってフィーチャーされていました。
Blue Swede の曲「Hooked on a Feeling」は、映画のデビュー予告編で使用されました。

Being a lesser known hero team the team working on the film was given more freedom to create a movie as they liked.
Of course it needed to tie into the overall events of the Marvel Universe, but it also wasn’t so closely connected since it took place in outer space.
One of the major successful points of the movie was how it incorporated music into the film.
The soundtrack prominently featured popular songs from the 1960s and 70s.
The song “Hooked on a Feeling” by Blue Swede was used in the debut trailer of the film.
The following day, the song saw a 700% increase in sales.
I often listen to the soundtrack when I want something fun to have on in the background.
この映画は大成功を収め、ガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシーをマーベルの最も人気のあるフランチャイズの一つに押し上げました。
私にとって、この映画は心の中で特別な場所を占めています。

The film was a big success and propelled the Guardians of the Galaxy into being one of Marvels most popular franchises.
For me, the film has a special place in my heart.
When I first moved from Hosoe to Hamakita my apartment didn’t have any furniture.
All I had was a futon and my laptop.
Each night, I would watch Guardians of the Galaxy so I wouldn’t feel lonely.
ガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシーは、2017年に続編映画、2022年に Disney+ スペシャル、そして今年 2023年に 3 番目の劇場長編映画を制作しました。
Guardians of the Galaxy went on to have a sequel movie in 2017, a Disney+ special in 2022, and this year in 2023 a third theatrical feature film.
5月の第3弾に向けてドキドキしながら、はじまりの映画を楽しみましょう！
Let’s enjoy the movie that started it all while we get excited for the 3rd film in May!
正直なところ、アメリカの予告編の方が優れていると思うので、アメリカの予告編も含めています。
日本語版は、映画を実際よりもアクション指向に見せます。
I'm also including the American trailer, because honestly, I think it's better.
The Japanese version makes the movie look more action oriented than it actually is.
