彼はアメリカのフォークおよびロックのシンガーソングライターでした。
彼が最も活躍したのは 1960 年代後半から 70 年代前半にかけて、5 枚のスタジオ アルバムをリリースしたときです。
1972年、彼のキャリアは彼のアルバム「You Don't Mess Around with Jim」のリリースで始まりました。
残念なことに、彼は人気絶頂の1973年に飛行機事故で命を落としてしまいました。
彼の死により、彼の音楽の人気はさらに高まり、彼の曲「Time in a Bottle」はビルボード トップ100 で1 位になりました。
Have you ever heard of Jim Croce?
He was an American folk and rock singer/songwriter.
He was most active during the late 1960’s and early 70’s when he released 5 studio albums.
1972 is when his career started to take off with the release of his album “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim”.
Unfortunately, he lost his life during the height of his popularity in 1973 in a plane crash.
His death led to his music soaring even higher in popularity and his song “Time in a Bottle” reached the #1 spot in the Billboard Top 100.

Time in a Bottle is a beautiful song written after his wife had told Jim that she was pregnant.
It’s a ballad filled with love for his wife given an ethereal feel from a harpsichord and topped with Jim’s magical vocals.
