アメリカのビールの王様についてお話しします。
これは、有名なアンハイザー ブッシュ醸造所が自社のビール、バドワイザーを説明するために使用したスローガンです。
I want to introduce some American culture to you today.
I will tell you about the king of beers in America.
This is a slogan used by the famous Anheuser–Busch brewery to describe their beer, Budweiser.
バドワイザーは、アメリカで最も有名なビールかもしれません。
このビールは、1876 年にミズーリ州セントルイスで最初に醸造されました。
このビールは、アドルファス・ブッシュがチェコ共和国のボヘミア地方で味わったビールにインスパイアされました。
通常、各ボトルには約 5% の ABV が含まれています。
Budweiser may be the most famous beer in America.
The beer was originally brewed in St. Louis, Missouri in 1876.
The beer was inspired by the beer that Adolphus Busch tasted in the Bohemia region of Czech Republic.
Each bottle usually contains about 5% ABV.
アンハイザー・ブッシュは、バドワイザー ビールの宣伝をためらうことはありません。
世紀の変わり目に、会社は「アンハイザー ブッシュの下で」というタイトルの曲を依頼し、初期の蓄音機会社数社によって録音されました。

Anheuser–Busch doesn't shy away from advertising Budweiser beer extensively.
During the early turn of the century, the company commissioned a song titled "Under the Anheuser Bush," which was recorded by several early phonograph companies.
In 1969, the company created a Superman-esque character named Bud Man.
One of the more memorable marketing campaigns, which is still around today, involves associating the beer with Clydesdale horses.
Another successful campaign involved a commercial involving frogs croaking, but instead of a normal frog sound, it was replaced with the beers name.

In America, the most popular would be NASCAR.
To tie things together with yesterday, Anheuser-Bush sponsored the famous NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. from 1999-2007.
正直なところ、アメリカにいたときはバドワイザービールを飲んだことがありませんでした。
実際、ビールを飲み始めたのは日本に来てからです。
バドワイザーのイメージは、私が子供の頃に見たすべてのテレビコマーシャルから来ています。
たぶん、缶を手に取って試してみる必要があります。

To be honest, I never drank Budweiser beer when I was in America.
In fact, it wasn't until I came to Japan did I start to drink beer.
My imagine of Budweiser is from all the TV commercials that I saw while growing up.
Perhaps I should pick up a can and give it a shot.
