Today I want to introduce a very American restaurant to you!
Have you ever heard of Cracker Barrel?
It's a chain of restaurants that are themed after the Southern American lifestyle.
クラッカー バレルは、1969 年にテネシー州レバノンでダン エビンスという男性によって初めて設立されました。
これらの店舗はもともと州間高速道路の出口近くに位置しており、旅行者の間で人気がありました。

Cracker Barrel was first started in Lebanon, Tennessee in 1969 by a man named Dan Evins.
The stores were originally positioned near interstate highway exits making them popular amongst travelers.
By the 1990s and into the 2000s Cracker Barrel began expanding across the country.
Cracker Barrel now operates 663 stores in 45 states.

Each Cracker Barrel location is themed after the old American South.
The restaurant is suppose to invoke the feeling of a old fashioned general-store.
Each location has a front porch with rows of rocking chairs as well as a large stone fireplace inside.
Another unique feature of each restaurant is the gift shop.
Before entering the dining area, you will first walk though a gift shop filled with traditional toys and other Americana.

It's a great step into Sothern American culture and a good way to try many delicious types of food!
