Earlier this month, we touched on the American cartoon for Mega Man.
Today, I want to talk about Mega Man again, but something a little different.
This time, we are going to focus on the Mega Man game that started it all.

In December of 1987 Capcom released a special game known as Mega Man.
The game sold well enough in Japan to warrant an American release.

As the story goes, the localization was rushed.
The president of Capcom U.S.A. requested a new box art to be used for the American release.
A friend was tasked with creating the new artwork, but unfortunately, the person had never played the game.
The person was given a brief description of the game, and from there created the now infamous artwork in 6 hours.

In the game, Mega Man has an arm cannon.
