First released in April 1984, "Futari no Ai Land" is a duet by Chage and Yuko Ishikawa.
The song became a big success peaking at #3 on the Oricon charts and becoming the summer hit of the year.
It ended the year as the 16th-best song and sold over 440,000 records.
松井五郎の協力を得て、チャゲは異文化間のダジャレや同音異義語を多く使用しながら歌詞を書くことができました。
作曲の過程で、チャゲはこの曲にココナッツという単語を使用することに頑固でしたが、この曲は日本航空 (JAL) と提携して沖縄のプロモーションに使用することを目的としていたため、沖縄にはココナッツの木は存在しないと知らされました。 沖縄。

With the help of Goro Matsui, Chage was able to write the lyrics making sure to use many cross-cultural puns and homophones.
During the writing process, Chage was adamant about using the word coconuts in the song, however, because the song was intended to be used in association with Japan Airlines (JAL) for an Okinawa promotion, he was informed that there are no coconut trees in Okinawa.
Not wanting to let his coconut obsession go, he instead used the homophonic lyric "Koko natsu" or "Koko wa natsu".
