I, for one, think it's interesting!

I don't believe in fortune-telling, but I do believe there is a pattern that can be found in personality types.
For me, this is what astrology is.

For some reason, I've always been fascinated by Scorpio types.

日本については分かりませんが、アメリカでは 1960 年代後半から 1970 年代前半にかけて、スピリチュアル、オカルティズム、疑似科学に対する関心が急増しました。
占星術は疑似科学とみなされ、1970 年代に有名になりました。

"Sasori-za no Onna" is the 25th single of Kenichi Mikawa and was released in December of 1972.
I'm not certain about Japan, but the late 1960s and early 1970s in America saw a spike in interest when it came to spirituality, occultism, and pseudoscience.
Astrology is considered a pseudoscience and rose to prominence in the 1970s.
It's interesting to see that this song, too, was released during that time.

The song tells the tale of a Scorpio woman who boasts of her scorpion features, like tenacity, strength, and a desire for revenge.
She even goes as far as to say that her poison, although slow, is thoroughly effective.
この曲はオリコンチャートで最高23位を記録しました。
美川は毎年の紅白歌合戦でも何度もこの曲を披露している。
The song peaked at 23 on the Oricon charts.
Mikawa has also performed the song many times on the yearly Kohaku Utagassen.
