Actually, it became popular during the summer, but it's a song about a special word.

今日の曲はアメリカのサーフ・ロック・バンド、ザ・トラッシュメンの「サーフィン・バード」です。
1963 年にシングルとしてリリースされ、ビルボードホット100 チャートで 4 位になりました。
Today's song is "Surfin' Bird" by the American surf-rock band, The Trashmen.
Originally released as a single in 1963, it reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart!
この曲は実際には、リビングトンズという 1960 年代のドゥーワップ バンドによる 2 つの別々の曲を組み合わせたものです。
ザ・トラッシュメンは以前に曲を聴いて、それらを組み合わせることに決め、途中にオリジナルの即興演奏を加えた。
法的圧力により、ザ・トラッシュメンは最終的にザ・リビングトンズをこの曲の作者としてクレジットすることになった。
This song is actually an amalgamation of two separate songs by a 1960's doo-wop band named The Rivingtons.
The Trashmen heard the songs previously and decided to combine them, with an original improvision in the middle.
Due to legal pressure, The Trashmen would eventually credit The Rivingtons as the writers of the song.
