I have another restaurant from America that I'd like to share with you today!
It's also a pancake and breakfast-themed restaurant!
Let's talk about The Original Pancake House!
私は日本に7年半住んでいます。
私がアメリカで最も恋しいことの一つは、朝食と朝食レストランです。
日本にはアメリカとはまったく異なる種類の朝食文化があります。
ほとんどのカフェでは「モーニングセット」を提供していますが、通常はゆで卵、トースト、ヨーグルト、サラダで構成されています。

I have been living in Japan for 7 and a half years now.
One of the things I miss most about America is the breakfasts and breakfast restaurants.
Japan has a very different type of breakfast culture than America.
Most cafes will offer a "morning set" but it usually consists of a boiled egg, toast, yogurt, and salad.
There isn't much variety, and the portions are typically small.
アメリカでは朝食はとても大事で、土曜日や日曜日の朝に朝食を食べに行くのはとても楽しいイベントです。
朝食のオプションはたくさんありますが、最も人気のあるものの 1 つは常にパンケーキです。

In America, breakfast is a big deal, and going out to breakfast on a Saturday or Sunday morning is an exciting event!
We have a plethora of breakfast options, but one of the most popular will always be pancakes!
This is why there are so many restaurants themed around pancakes.
These types of restaurants are classified as pancake houses!

The Original Pancake House is a chain of restaurants started in Portland, Oregon in 1953.
The founders, Les Highet and Erma Hueneke collected recipes from around the world and used them to start their business.
Focusing mainly on breakfast food, they became known for their Apple Pancakes, Dutch Baby, German Pancakes, and omelets.
このフランチャイズは現在、カナダのほか 28 の州にレストランを展開しています。
2013年に韓国のソウルに店舗をオープンしました。
その約1か月後には日本にも進出し、東京に1号店をオープンしました。
現在、全国に約8店舗あります！
いつか行ってみたいです！
The franchise currently has restaurants in 28 states, as well as Canada.
In 2013 they opened a location in Seoul, South Korea.
About a month after that, they even expanded to Japan, opening their first restaurant in Tokyo!
As of today, they have about 8 locations across Japan!
I want to visit one someday!
