オリジナル映画が興行的に大ヒットした後は、そのフランチャイズから最大限の利益を得るのがハリウッドの義務です。
もちろん、それはあまり意味をなさないかもしれない続編を作ることを意味します。
これがハリウッドの仕組みです。
それでは、シティ・スリッカーズ 2 についてお話ししましょう!
Since we covered the first movie and the Muppet parody, it's only right to talk about the second movie.
After any box office smash of an original film, it's Hollywood's duty to milk a franchise for all it's worth.
That, of course, means creating a sequel that might not really make sense.
This is just how the Hollywood machine works.

On a budget of $40 million the movie returned $72 million in box office sales worldwide.

The plot of the film revolves around Crystal's character, whom is doing much better after the events of the first film.
However, he begins to feel regret for not being able to save his friend from the first film and even feels he's coming back to haunt him.
After finding a treasure map in an old cowboy hat, he learns that his deceased friend has hidden gold bullion worth over $1 million dollars.
The crew from the first movie gather and make their way to Nevada desert in search of the treasure!

Many cited that the plot of the movie was shoehorned in for an easy cash grab.
Due to this response, the movie would go on to be nominated for a Razzie Award, which is a prize honoring the worst cinematic failures within a year.
この映画は一度しか見たことがありません。7歳の時でした。
母と一緒にこの映画を見に行ったのですが、7歳の少年だった私にはとても面白いと思いました。
それ以来、この映画を見ていませんが、この映画には頭から離れないシーンが1つあります。それは、ある登場人物がガラガラヘビにお尻を噛まれ、友達に毒を吸い出すように頼むというシーンです。
7歳の私の脳にとって、あれはコメディの最高峰でした。
いつか、この映画をもう一度見て、中年男性としてどう感じるか試してみたいです。
I have only seen this movie once, and it was when I was 7 years old.
My mother and I went to see this movie together, and as a 7 year old boy, I thought it was so funny!
I haven't watched it since then, but there is one scene from the movie that has always stuck in my head, and it involved one character getting bit by a rattle snake on his butt and requesting his friends suck out the venom.
That was the peak of comedy for my 7 year old brain.
Someday, I'd like to watch this movie again and see how I feel about it as a middle-aged man.
