しかし、幹線道路沿いにはチェーン店がほとんどです。
私はチェーン店の大ファンではありませんが、多くの人にとってはチェーン店が役立っています。
チェーン店は信頼できるサービスと馴染みのある味を提供します。
今日はアメリカのチェーン店についてお話ししたいと思います。

When I'm driving my car, I always keep my eye out for delicious and interesting restaurants or cafes.
However, along the major roads we mostly see chain restaurants.
Although I'm not a big fan of chains, they serve a purpose for many people.
Chain restaurants offer reliable service and familiar tastes.
Today, I'd like to tell you about a chain restaurant in America.
Welcome to Chili's.
Chili's Grill & Bar は、しばしば Chili's と略される、アメリカ料理とテキサス・メキシコ料理を提供するアメリカンカジュアルダイニングレストランです。
最初のレストランは、1975 年に創業者の Larry Lavine によってテキサスにオープンしました。
当初のコンセプトは、手頃な価格でさまざまなハンバーガーを提供するフルサービスのカジュアルダイニングレストランでした。
創業以来、ステーキや、エビのタコス、ケサディーヤ、ファヒータなどのメキシコ風の料理を提供するように進化してきました。
Chili's Grill & Bar, often shortened to just Chili's, is an American casual dining restaurant serving American and Tex-Mex dishes.
The first restaurant was opened in Texas in 1975 by founder Larry Lavine.
The original concept was to be a full-service casual dining restaurant offering a variety of hamburgers at affordable prices.
Since it's inception it has evolved to offer steaks and Mexican inspired dishes, such as shrimp tacos, quesadillas, and fajitas.
ラヴィーンはその後、パートナーのノーマン・E・ブリンカーとともにブリンカー・インターナショナルという別の会社を設立しました。

Lavine would go on to found another company with partner Norman E. Brinker called Brinker International.
This company is a multinational corporation that manages restaurants.
Lavine would sell Chili's to Brinker International in 1983, where it was then managed.

Over the years, Chili's saw its popularity rise and fall, but from the looks of it, Chili's seems to be on an upward trajectory at the moment.
In September 2017, the menu was reworked, and 40% of the selection was cut down to focus primarily on burgers, ribs, and fajitas.
Chili's also operates many locations outside of the United States, in countries like India, China, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Egypt, and even Japan!
If you're up for the trip, you can visit Chili's in Tokyo, Okinawa, Kanagawa, and Nagasaki.
チリーズは私のお気に入りのレストランではありませんでしたし、特に強い思い入れもありません。
子供の頃はほとんどそこで食事をしませんでしたし、大人になってからは飲み物を求めて行き、フローズン マルガリータを楽しみました。

Chili's was never a favorite restaurant of mine and I don't particularly hold any strong feelings towards it.
I rarely ate there as a kid, and as an adult I would go for the drinks, enjoying their frozen margaritas.
However, there is one thing about Chili's that I purposely left out.
It may be the most memorable and well-known thing about the restaurant.
From here on out, we will venture down the rabbit hole.
