As you know, I visited my aunt and uncle in Georgia state.

日本に帰ってきたので、ジョージアで初めて発見した場所を紹介したいと思います。
ここ数年で人気が急上昇中のお店です。
実はガソリンスタンドなんです。
バック・イーズについてお話ししましょう！
Now that I'm back in Japan, I'd like to introduce a place that I discovered for the first time while in Georgia.
It's a store whose popularity has been on the rise in recent years.
In fact, it's a gas station.
Let me tell you about Buc-ee's!
バック・イーズは 1982 年に設立され、テキサス州に本社を置くガソリンスタンド チェーンです。
創業者はアーチ "ビーバー" アプリンという男性で、テキサス州クルートに最初の店舗をオープンしました。
象徴的なビーバーのマスコットと名前は、アプリンのニックネーム、彼の幼少期のゴールデン レトリバーのバック、そして歯磨き粉 Ipana のビーバーのマスコットを組み合わせたものです。
Buc-ee's is a gas station chain founded in 1982 and headquartered in Texas.
The founder is a man named Arch "Beaver" Aplin, who opened the first store in Clute, Texas.
The iconic beaver mascot and name is a culmination of Aplin's nickname, his childhood golden retriever, Buck, and the beaver mascot of the toothpaste Ipana.
2012年、バック・イーズはテキサス州ニューブラウンフェルズに、それまでで最大の店舗をオープンしました。
この店舗は州間高速道路35号線沿いの便利な場所にあり、当時は6,300平方メートルの世界最大のコンビニエンスストアでした。

In 2012, Buc-ee's would debut its largest store up to that point in New Braunfels, Texas.
The store would be placed conveniently on Interstate 35 and for the time was the largest convenience store in the world at 6,300 m².
One thing to note is that gas stations and convenience stores go hand-in-hand in America.
Typically, all gas stations are convenience stores.
The New Braunfels store would hold the world's largest convenience store record up until June 26, 2023 when it was only outdone by a new Buc-ee's in Sevierville, Tennessee that debuted at 6,940.5 m².
That record would only go unontested for about a year when again, Buc-ee's would open another store on June 10, 2024 in Luling, Texas at 6967.7 m², making it todays reigning champion.
バック・イーズの大きな魅力の 1 つは、提供される食べ物です。

One of the major draws for Buc-ee's is that food that it has on offer.
The beef brisket sandwhich has become a favorite among patrons but the offerings don't stop there.
Each location also has a bakery, fudge bar, snack aisle, soda, coffee, and an Icee station.
This is on top of their wall of assorted jerky and aisles of candies.

Besides food, each store also sells souvenirs and general goods products.
Some stores even carry outdoor and hunting equipment, too.

A comedian once joked that Buc-ee's is America's modern day Ellis Island.
If you truly want to see and begin to understand American culture, go to Buc-ee's.
It's the biggest gas station known to man where people are singing and cutting meats while a person in a beaver costume is walking around.
そしてついに、日本が世界中で、特にアメリカ人の間で急速に影響力を増していることの証として、バック・イーズは初音ミクと出会いました。

Finally, as testament to Japan's soaring influence around the world, and especially amongst Americans, Buc-ee's met Hatsune Miku.
In 2023, an artist created a sticker combining the Buc-ee's mascot with Hatsune Miku and called it "Bucsune Miku".
Of course, this was not an official collaboration and the Buc-ee's corporation responded with a cease and desist letter to the artist.
But wow, what an age to be alive in.
