昨日の話題の後、ポケモンとそのゲームについてもっと考え始めました。

After yesterdays topic, I started to think more about Pokémon and its games.
Actually, Pokémon was one of the most influential games of childhood.
I played it everyday for hours on end.
Even doing everything that the game offered, I still played, never wanting to leave the Pokémon world.

In Japan, the Pokémon game was released in February of 1996 with Red and Green.
However, in America, it was released in September of 1998 with Red and Blue.
In fact, America never received a Pokémon Green until September of 2004 with the Game Boy Advance update Leaf Green.

This included updated sprites of all the Pokémon in the original Red and Green.
Just like in Japan, we also received a Pokémon Yellow version, but I never owned it.

I started with a Squirtle as my first Pokémon.
I remember trying hard to evolve my Haunter. Not knowing you had to trade it with a friend.
I was wondering when my level 87 Haunter would evolve. haha

Nowadays, I'm not so interested in the new Pokémon games, but the old games will always be special for me.
