今日は、別のマーベル コミック コラボレーションを見てみたいと思います。
1970 年代、マーベルには多くのプロジェクトがありました。
1 つのプロジェクトは、日本のキャラクターをコミックで使用するためのライセンス供与でした。
Today I want to take a look at another Marvel Comics collaboration.
In the 1970s, Marvel had many projects that they were working on.
One project was licensing characters from Japan to use in their comic books.
このプロセスを通じて、マーベルはショーグーン・ウォリアズと呼ばれる新しいコミック シリーズを作成しました。
ショーグーン・ウォリアズは、もともと 1979 年 2 月から 1980 年 9 月まで発行され、20 号まで発行されました。
Through this process, Marvel created a new comic book series called Shogun Warriors.
Shogun Warriors was originally published from February of 1979 until September of 1980 and ran for 20 issues.
3 つの異なる日本のアニメから 3 つの巨大ロボットが登場しました。
1人目はレイディーン（勇者ライディーン）、2人目はコンバトラ（超電磁ロボ コン・バトラーV）、3人目はダンガードエース（惑星ロボ ダンガードA）。
It featured three giant robots from three different Japanese anime.
The first was Raydeen (勇者ライディーン), the second Combatra (超電磁ロボ コン・バトラーV), and the third was Dangard Ace (惑星ロボ ダンガードA).
物語では、ロボットはさまざまなエイリアンの侵略と戦います。
残念ながら、将軍戦士コミックは、いくつかの理由により 1980 年代にキャンセルされました。
その理由の1つは、本があまり売れなかったことです。
それらは失敗ではありませんでしたが、マーベルはその出版により販売数が減少していました。

In the stories, the robots would fight against various alien invasions.
Unfortunately, the Shogun Warriors comic would be cancelled in the 1980s due to a few reasons.
One reason was the books didn't sell very well.
Although they weren't a failure, Marvel was seeing declining sales numbers with its publication.
Secondly, the writer, Doug Moench, created a new comic book character called Moon Knight, and wanted to focus on writing stories for this new character.
Finally, Marvel's rights to the licensed characters had expired and they couldn't legally use them without renewing their contract.
コミックの最終号までに、3 台のロボットはファンタスティック フォーの助けを借りて破壊されます。
これまでのところ、ロボットがマーベル コミックに戻ったことはありません。
By the final issue of the comic, the three robots are destroyed with the help of the Fantastic Four.
So far, the robots have never returned to any Marvel comics.
