I don't recall how or when I found this song, but it has stuck with me for a long time.
Today, I want to share this special song with you.
Let me tell you about "Looking for You" by Nino Ferrer.
1934年8月15日生まれのニノ・フェレールはイタリア生まれのフランスのシンガーソングライターです。
ニノは幼い頃から音楽に情熱を持っていました。
彼は貨物船として働き、世界中を旅しました。
フランスに帰国後、彼は音楽の世界に没頭しました。
Born 15 August 1934 Nino Ferrer was a Italian-born French singer-songwriter.
Nino held a passion for music since childhood.
He worked as a freighter where he traveled the world!
Upon returning to France he immersed himself in the world of music.

In particular, Nino was interested and influenced by jazz and blues music.
He was drawn to James Brown, Otis Redding, and Ray Charles.
He began playing double bass in Bill Coleman's New Orleans Jazz Orchestra.
Nino appeared on his first recording in 1959 playing bass on two 45 singles by the Dixie Cats.
Nancy Holloway, a rhythm 'n' blues singer suggested he take up solo singing.

Nino recorded his first album in 1963 and saw success.
He would continue to see success with his recordings in both Italy and France.

I'm not familiar with all of Nino's records, but the one I want to highlight is from 1974.
