Today I have a special anime I'd like to discuss.
Do you remember Humanoid Monster Bem?
『妖怪人間ベム』は、1968 年 10 月から 1969 年 3 月まで放送された 26 話のホラー アニメ シリーズです。
この物語は、人間になりたいと願う 3 人の超自然的な生き物、ベム、ベラ、ベロの物語です。
彼らは、邪悪な雰囲気とさまざまなモンスターに感染した海岸沿いの町に住んでいます。
人類の悪行により怪物が出現したが、三匹の怪物は人類を助けることを決意する。

Humanoid Monster Bem is a 26-episode horror anime series that aired from October 1968 to March 1969.
The story follows 3 supernatural creatures, Bem, Bela, Belo, who want to become human.
They live in a coastal town that is infected by an evil atmosphere and various monsters.
Due to humanity's evil deeds, the monsters have emerged, but the three creatures decide to help the humans.
Although the humans fear them, they still want to help in hopes of becoming human themselves one day.
アニメは 2006 年にまったく新しい適応で復活しました。
その後、2011年に実写ドラマ、2012年に映画化もされました。
シリーズ50周年を記念して2019年に第3シリーズが放送され、2020年には映画も公開された。
ついに、2020年には実写のスピンオフシリーズが放送されました。
The anime was revived in 2006 with a brand-new adaptation.
This was then followed up with a live-action drama and movie in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
A third series aired in 2019 for the series' 50th anniversary, which was also followed by a movie in 2020.
Finally, a live-action spin-off series aired in 2020.
