Let's continue our discussion on the various Muppets of Jim Henson.
Today we will take a look at Cookie Monster.
He is one of the most well known of all the Muppets.

Cookie Monster was first created in 1966 for a snack commercial but it was never aired.
His design was later reused for an IBM training video and again for another snack commercial.
Because Henson had begun working on Sesame Street he decided not to renew his contracts for making commercials and again repurposed Cookie Monster to fit into Sesame Street.
