90年代後半に大ヒットした警察コメディドラマ。

I want to talk about Rhythm and Police!
Rhythm and Police は、90 年代後半に人気のビデオ ゲーム フランチャイズで使用され、Dance Dance Revolution と呼ばれていました。
2000 年 12 月 28 日にリリースされた Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix Plus で初めて使用されました。
しかし、ほとんどのアメリカ人は、2002 年にリリースされたダンス ダンス レボリューション エクストリームでこの曲を初めて聞きました。
Rhythm and Police was used in a popular video game franchise in the late 90s called Dance Dance Revolution.
It was first used in Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix Plus released on December 28th 2000.
However, most Americans first heard this song in Dance Dance Revolution Extreme released in 2002.
エクストリームはアメリカで正式にリリースされることはありませんでしたが、多くのアーケード所有者は日本のアーケード キャビネットを輸入しました。
リズムゲームがメインなので言語の壁は高くなく、ほとんどのゲームで英語が使われています。
Rhythm and Police は DDR Extreme に収録され、非常に人気のある曲になりました。
DDRファンの間では人気があるにも関わらず、ほとんどの人はそれが日本のドラマに由来することを知りません。
Although Extreme was never officially released in America, many arcade owners imported the Japanese arcade cabinet.
Since the game is mainly a rhythm game, the language barrier isn't high and most of the game uses English.
Rhythm and Police was included in DDR Extreme and became a very popular song.
Despite its popularity among DDR fans, most people has no idea it came from a Japanese Drama.

The song used in the game is a remixed version of the original.
It has a much faster tempo and added sound effects.
この曲を日本で初めて聴いた時はドキドキしてDDRの曲だと思っていたのですが、実はテレビドラマの曲だと知りました。
これがベイサイドシェイクダウンを見ることに興味がない理由です！
When I first heard this song in Japan I got excited and thought it was from DDR, but I learned it was actually from the TV drama.
This is why I'm not interested in watching Bayside Shakedown!
